The above is a short list of the many services I offer. Tell me what your problems are and I will do my best to solve them for you.
I provide an affordable, high quality and very friendly service. My success rate is nearly 100%.
I am very straightforward and will try to make sure that you are clear about what is wrong with your computer and what I can do to remedy the problem(s.)
Charges
My rate is £30 / hour.
I will give you a maximum cost for a job and I will stand any labour costs over that figure as part of my commitment to you. I will not invent difficulties in order to inflate the cost.
In the unlikely event that I am unable to identify and fix your problem or fulfil the service that I have undertaken to provide, I will reduce my fee accordingly and readily.
I can only accept cash or cheques as payment.
Harmful software removal service (off-site)
Most of the work I do is removal of viruses, adware, spyware, malware etc, all of which can seriously harm and slow down your system.
Frequently it is uneconomical or impractical to repair your PC on-site. So I provide a range of off-site rescue service options. The charges, for that, range from around £30 for the most basic service, to around £120 for a full data rescue and repair service. I regret that I cannot rescue data from (badly) failed media or drives.
The higher cost services will almost certainly be being capped (at my expense) in order to stop the charges becoming silly. I will discuss the options (and associated charges) on an individual basis.
My background
I have an honours degree in electronics and have extensive experience with computers (since 1975) as a programmer, an electronics engineer and as a PC enthusiast.
I have been providing this service (full-time) since July 2004.
